Ever climb a mountain?
Moses did. And when He got there, He met God. In fact, God had a rather intimate encounter with Moses. It says in the Scriptures that Moses asked to see God’s glory…and He did. And when He came down from the mountain top, his face shone with that very same glory. Exodus 34
I believe that if we, as worshippers of God, seek God’s face, seek His presence, seek His glory, that He will show it. That He will change us, make us shine. That He will show us the path of life, that He will make our way straight. I believe that if we take time, time to climb the mountain, He’ll meet us there. The way may be rough, treacherous, hard to bear, but the Glory of the Lord is definitely worth it.
